Trip to ILSTU
in 2007-08 the Mahone Symphonic Band traveled to Illinois State University to work with Dr. Daniel A. Belongia (the 2008-09 guest conductor for Band-O-Rama!) "Dr.B" is a graduate of KUSD schools. He went on to receive his undergraduate & masters degrees from the University of Miami and his doctorate degree from Michigan State University. He will be the first alumni to ever conduct Band-O-Rama this year! Here are a couple of pictures of the band working with him in ILSTU's fabulous new performance hall.
